Day 11 – Monday, September 17, 2012

Hey all! So, I’ve got a few pictures to post here that’ll explain themselves, so I’ll try to just explain shortly what I’ve done today. In list form, oh-em-gee!

  • I made up the final process plan for how I will do the future ‘assignments’ for this block. It’s pretty much the same as what I detailed in the previous post, so go check that out if you’re interested.
  • I made a presentation template for my assignments, one that I’ll use to compile the results of my work. I even made a neat little background for it, with bubble things!
  • I did a short test study on color theory, to repeat what I learned from the book I’ve been reading. You can see it below!
  • I compiled the results of my test of an iterative drawing process that I did last Thursday. It will also be visible below!
  • I also did a little test on a silhouette environment design method. Below as well!
  • I also did a bit more thumbnail drawing. I ran out of time to finish it though, so no pics of it yet.

A quick demonstration of some color theory. Based on the things I learned from Leo Sandberg’s book. (Click to enlarge.)

A sort of quick test on an iterative drawing process. Borrowing a few steps from other methods with a bit of my own, so to say. (Click to enlarge.)

A test of the silhouette environment design method, at:
I actually did a few of those quite a while ago, so I decided to finish up the last few to test the method out again. (Click to enlarge.)

That’s about all for today. I’ll probably get started tomorrow on doing an assignment according to the plan I made.

Marcus out.
